Spiced Apple Cobbler

Who's doesn't like Apple Cobbler and with Oma & Popie's Drunk Uncle Bourbon sauce we spice it up bit.

Filling:

· 7 Cups Peeled, Cored and Diced Apples

· 1/2 Cup Sugar

· 1 1/2 Cup Fresh Cranberries

· 3 TBL Flour

· 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar

· 1 TSP Vanilla

· 1/3 Cup Drunk Uncle Sauce

· 1 TBL Soft Butter

Topping:

· 3/4 Cup Flour

· 1/2 Cup Sugar

· 1/4 TSP Salt

· 1 TSP Baking Powder

· 1 Lrg. Egg

· 2 TBL Cream

· 2 TBL Melted Butter

Toss diced apples and cranberries into sauce, sugars, vanilla and flour. Pour into greased 2 1/2- to 3-quart baking dish. Dot with the soft butter. To make the topping mix flour with sugar, baking powder, and salt. Whisk egg with cream and melted butter; stir into the dry ingredients and beat until smooth. Using a tablespoon, drop batter by spoonfuls evenly over the fruit mixture. The batter will spread as the cobbler bakes. Bake for 40 to 50 minutes, until fruit is tender and topping is nicely browned. Serve with whipped cream and/or ice cream.
