All our marinades begin with Guajillo chile peppers pronounced “wha hee oh", the flavor profile is slightly fruity with a sweet heat, tannic with hints of pine, tart berries, and light smoky undertones. We then add aged red cayenne powder, chunks of garlic, locally grown onions, a blend of white and apple cider vinegar, pure cane brown sugar and lots of flavorful spices. You can see and taste the difference! Made originally for wings, however, its use is endless as a marinade for fish, shrimp, steak, pork, chicken, ribs, grilled veggies, pizza sauce or the perfect vinaigrette topping on a fresh green and pasta salad.

Popie has crafted five signature spice blends/dry rubs: Drunk Uncle Joe ( Bourbon infused coffee with coco & chili powder) Flippin' the Bird (Smoked Chipotle Citrus), Ja Makin’ Me Crazy: (Jamaican Jerk); Bayou Venom: (Hot Smoky Cajun) & Lip Smackin' Hawt (Fiery Hot Pepper Blend) We use only chemical and pesticide free quality spices with no preservatives and low sodium. You won't find any anti-caking agents, unnecessary fillers, additives, colorings or flavorings in any of our seasonings either. While shopping for seasoning blends/dry rubs at the grocery store, be cautious, as many are made with a huge amount of salt which is an inexpensive filler used by many manufacturers. Our spice blends have lower sodium than our competition starting at 30mg - 95mg per 1/4 tsp serving.

Meet Oma & Popie
It all started with one of our first dates, early on Popie confessed his love of dive bars and chicken wings to Oma. So, the challenge was accepted and she took him to the Oasis in Twin Falls ID for 25 cent wing nights. From that moment the search was on to find the best wings and sauces in the country.
During our travels, we chomped on hundreds of wings in dive bars across the states. We found that the sauce names were different, but all tasted the same. So, we hit the kitchen to come up with a sauce like no other. For the first couple years, we made these in our home kitchen and gave out to family and friends, took with us to cookouts, football tailgating and any place that would allow us to bring in our own sauces. After 20 years of Popie managing Performing Art Centers around the Country and Oma serving as an executive assistant, marketing director and a foundation director we took a leap of faith in June of 2016 and returned to Idahome to give the Seasoning Sauce and Spice Blend business a go. Soon our "made for wings" products found their way into many other recipes and according to not only family and friends the public agrees we have succeeded in bringing something different to the sauce world. Our products show our zest for life and shared adventures. We hope you will give us chance, you won't be disappointed.
